WHAT SALO MEANS

Made today. Extra today. Picked up today.

Sometimes shops prepare more than what gets sold for the day. These items are still good, but time-sensitive. Salo helps people nearby discover them before closing, with clear pickup details, condition, and use guidance.

Extra stock is not old stock.Pickup timing does not always mean same-day consumption.

Good items already made or available

Salo is for fresh extras, prepared items, flowers, groceries, and daily goods that still deserve a clear path to someone nearby.

Clear pickup and use guidance

Every Salo Drop shows its condition, pickup window, and use guidance so customers know what to expect.

Local support built in

Customers discover good local finds while helping nearby shops give extra stock another chance before the day ends.

Good local stock sometimes goes unused - not because it isn't good, but because it didn't find the right person in time.

Salo changes that.

Extra stock, not old stock.

Built and working

We’ve built the app. Here’s the whole loop.

These are real screens from the Salo Android build — not mockups. Reserving opens once the first Quezon City shops join the pilot, and everyone on the waitlist hears first.

Extra stock is not old stock.

Every Salo Drop is something a shop is proud to sell — fresh extras, same-day prepared items, display-ready flowers, good overstock. Each one is clearly labeled with everything you need to decide.

Why it's available
Shops say exactly why each item is on Salo — extras happen, and that's normal business.
Condition & use guidance
“Prepared today, best enjoyed today” or “display-ready for 1–2 days” — stated plainly on every Drop.
Pickup window
A clear window for swinging by the shop, with your pickup ticket in the Salo app when reservations open.

Pickup timing doesn't always mean same-day consumption — every Drop carries its own use guidance.
